What is Otherworld Philadelphia?

Otherworld Philadelphia is the largest immersive museum in Philadelphia — a 40,000 square foot art and entertainment experience featuring 55 rooms of large-scale interactive art, mixed-reality playgrounds, and secret passageways. It blends elements of Burning Man-style art installations, immersive theater, escape rooms, children's museums, and haunted houses into something entirely its own.

Created by over 100 artists, builders, and engineers, Otherworld Philadelphia opened in July 2023 and has since been named a winner of the Philadelphia Inquirer's 2024 Philly Favorites Award in four categories — Favorite Attraction, Favorite Date Night Activity, Favorite Family Attraction, and Favorite Place to Take Visitors. USA Today also named it one of the Best Immersive Art Experiences in the U.S. This is not a seasonal event — Otherworld Philadelphia is open year-round.
