What to Expect
How Long Will I Spend at New Orleans Nightmare?
Wait times vary by night — Fast Pass and Skip the Line tickets are strongly recommended on peak nights to reduce or eliminate your time in line.
Your total time at New Orleans Nightmare depends on your ticket type and how busy the night is — wait times can range from a few minutes to over an hour on peak evenings.
Here is a general breakdown:
- General Admission: On busy nights (especially weekends and holidays), wait times in the standard queue can be significant. Plan for extra time if you have a GA ticket.
- Fast Pass: Gives you priority access to a shorter queue, significantly reducing your wait on busy nights.
- Skip the Line: Near-zero wait — you move to the front of the queue and enter almost immediately.
- Platinum VIP: Unlimited skip-the-line access all night, plus exclusive additional perks.
Once inside, each haunted maze — City Morgue and The Harvest — takes approximately 10–20 minutes to walk through, depending on your pace and group size. If you add on experiences like Mini Escape Rooms or Phobia: Sensory Overload, budget additional time for those as well.
We strongly recommend upgrading to Fast Pass or Skip the Line on Friday and Saturday nights and during the weeks surrounding Halloween to minimize your wait.
