Who Should Attend
Can Pregnant Women Attend New Orleans Nightmare?
Pregnant guests are not recommended for New Orleans Nightmare due to sudden scares, strobe lights, fog, and physically demanding movement through tight spaces.
Pregnant guests are strongly advised against attending New Orleans Nightmare due to sudden intense scares, strobe lights, theatrical fog, and physically demanding movement through tight spaces.
The nature of a professional haunted house poses several risks for pregnant guests:
- Sudden startle scares — professional scare actors deliver unexpected frights throughout the entire experience, which can cause a significant physical stress response.
- Strobe lights and disorienting effects — these effects are used throughout both mazes and may cause dizziness or disorientation.
- Dense theatrical fog — heavy fog may affect visibility and breathing.
- Confined spaces and uneven terrain — both mazes involve navigating narrow corridors, low clearances, and potentially uneven ground.
- Physical reactions — involuntary movements such as ducking, stumbling, or startling are common reactions throughout the attraction.
Out of an abundance of caution, we do not recommend this experience for pregnant guests. Please consult your physician if you have any questions. For more information, contact us at help@neworleansnightmare.com or (504) 224-9140.
