New Orleans Nightmare is a professional, high-intensity haunted house designed to frighten — it is recommended for guests ages 12 and older.

Parents and guardians should carefully consider whether younger children are ready for this type of experience before purchasing tickets. Here is what guests should be prepared for inside:

• Sudden, intense scares from live actors and special effects
• Strobe lights and flashing effects
• Dense theatrical fog
• Loud sounds and startling audio effects
• Tight, confined spaces and dark corridors
• Graphic and frightening themes, including gore and horror imagery
