Buying Tickets
Can I Buy Tickets at the Gate?
Whether tickets are sold at the gate depends on the event — timed-entry dates can sell out, so buying online in advance is the safest option.
Most events on Zentix are timed-entry and sold online in advance, and many venues do not have a box office or walk-up ticket sales at all. Buying online before you arrive is the only way to guarantee entry.
What to know:
- Many venues are online-only. A number of events have no on-site box office or walk-up sales — if you arrive without a ticket, you may not be able to buy entry at the door. Always check the event's own information first.
- You can buy right up to the day of the event, including from your phone on the way to the venue. Your QR code confirmation is emailed immediately and scanned directly from your phone at the gate — no printing required.
- If a date is sold out, no tickets remain — online or at the venue — for that session.
- Pricing may change over time. Many events use dynamic pricing, so the price can rise as a date fills up and as the event approaches. Buying earlier is often the lower price — there is no guaranteed "cheaper at the door" rate. See Why Did the Price Change? for how pricing works.
To confirm how a specific event sells tickets, check the event organizer's website or contact them directly. To guarantee entry and lock in your price, purchase online in advance.
